Charlene  After serving 41 years in prison, Charlene returned to the community in December 2017. She joined the Bags to Butterflies team in July 2018. " I never thought I would find a job after being away for so long. I'm excited about creating the bags. They are beautiful."

In Loving Memory.   (Rest in heaven, beautiful butterfly! )   Robin spent 12 years of her life in and out of prison. While at Bags to Butterflies, she created (and mastered) a technique to mix unique dye and paint colors. “I love my job." I get to experiment with a variety of techniques to make our products unique and one-of-a-kind using a variety of color combinations.”

Tonya  Tonya returned to the community in April 2018 after serving 44 years in prison. She was hired as a handbag designer at Bags to Butterflies in June 2018, her first job since being released from prison. "Creating our handbags reminds me of putting together pieces of a puzzle" "It represents rebuilding my life.”

Machelle  Machelle joined the Bags to Butterflies team in September 2018. After serving 34 years in prison, she was paroled in August 2018. "I am so happy to finally be home. It's a good feeling to be employed and have the opportunity to make a difference in the community in which I now live."
